Flexiable PVC Geomembrane
Allows for fast subgrade coverage.
Wedge welded on-site for factory quality seams.
High flexibility allows for deployment in very windy conditions, limiting the risk of the installation.
Extremely durable and lays on the ground with a skin-tight finish.
Small repairs can be performed by the contractor if the installation crews have completed their work and have de-mobbed.
Description:
The PVC geomembrane is a synthetic foil made of polyvinyl chloride, used in civil and water engineering as well as in environment protection as a barrier or a barrierelement preventing water (or other liquid) rising or penetration.
PVC sheeting geomembranes provide reliable defense with excellent puncture, abrasion, and tear resistance. They play a crucial role in environmental containment applications by preventing contaminants and protecting groundwater sources. PVC sheeting geomembranes show good resistance to many inorganic chemicals. However, special attention is needed to qualify them for their resistance to organic chemicals. Cold bonding or hot air welding methods can be used to form a solid and tightly sealed overall waterproof layer. PVC geomembrane can meet the anti-seepage, isolation, reinforcement, and crack resistance conditions of civil engineering projects such as water conservancy, municipal engineering, construction, transportation, subway, and tunnel.
Key Advantages of PVC geomembranes liner
Excellent Chemical Resistance
PVC geomembranes are highly resistant to acids, alkalis, oils, and industrial chemicals, making them ideal for hazardous waste containment, mining operations, and chemical storage.
Superior UV & Weather Resistance
Unlike PVC or LLDPE liners, PVC liners (especially those with carbon black additives) can withstand prolonged UV exposure without degradation, ensuring long-term performance in outdoor applications.
Low Permeability (Excellent Waterproofing)
With permeability coefficients as low as 1×10⁻¹³ cm/s, PVC liners effectively prevent seepage in water storage ponds, tailings dams, and irrigation canals.
Long Service Life (50+ Years)
Due to their resistance to oxidation, biological degradation, and extreme temperatures, PVC liners can last over 50 years, reducing long-term maintenance costs.
Advantage
High elasticity
Very good adhesion of the substrate
Resistant to non-uniform ground settlement or deformation
Owing to high specific gravity, it is ideal for water tank insulation
Owing to its high elasticity, it gives the possibility to prepare large size sheets beforehand to be directly arranged at the site
